The Peter RabbitTM Egg Hunt 2013 – over for another year!

The Peter Rabbit™ Egg Hunt is a firm favourite in the Lake District family events calendar. This year, the event will take place on Thursday 4 April with 50 limited edition ceramic eggs to find.
In 2013, the Egg Hunt takes a watery turn and the eggs will be hidden around water as we raise funds and awareness for our nominated charity WaterAid. We have supported WaterAid for a number of years raising over £17,000 to date for their work in Malawi. It seems right that in our region which is so famous for its water that we should help a part of the world where there is a shortage.
To take part… Simply give a minimum donation of £2 to WaterAid via the secure link below and the fun begins! There are 50 eggs to find, once each egg is found its lucky winner lets us know by calling or texting the Egg hotline: 07909 265 100 or calling 015394 40874 and takes the egg home. That egg will then be removed from the live map.
SAFETY: For safety reasons, all eggs will be placed a safe distance away from each lake shore or water, and will not require you to go in the water or stray far from the footpath.
